Since beginning her teaching career in 1983, Maggie Leivas has been proud to call Parker, AZ her home town. She continues to work in the field of education and is currently employed as librarian at Parker High School.
Maggie comes from a family of photographers and artists. Her maternal grandparents, Nels and Helen Carlson, owned and operated Carlson’s Studio of Photography in Carrington, North Dakota. After their death, Maggie’s parents Jerrold and Doris Skadberg carried on the family business. In addition, there have been several talented artists on both sides of her family. Today two brothers and two nieces work in the fields of art or photography.
Long interested in photography, Maggie Leivas thoroughly enjoys all aspects of providing her customers with carefully prepared works of photographic art they can treasure for a lifetime.
